The food here is awesome!! We love the variety. It is like a home cooked meal. The a Salad bar has great options!! Worth driving out of your way . We prefer to decorate from our route an extra 15 min everytimw we head in that direction then to eat at any other fast food place. It is clean and the price is reasonable. Must stop

The restaurant has "Butter" in the name so you know it's going to be good. Here's how good it was: I am a native Texan who isn't a huge fan of barbeque and has never been to a buffet that was more than mediocre. But this place has managed to merge these two things into one of my most memorable dining experiences. Don't let the buffet style setup fool you. This food tastes fresh and has delicious flavor. I don't typically like catfish, but their fried catfish was so good i didn't need to dip it in anything. I asked for a side of barbecue sauce for the pork ribs - didn't need a drop of it. Which was kind of a shame because their sauce is homemade and so. freaking. good. They have a soft serve ice cream machine. This is not to mention the friendly and attentive service. I live in San Antonio and would literally make the drive down here again just to eat at Butter Churn.
